Foam Lifting vs. Mudjacking: The Cleaner, Cheaper Solution

Mudjacking was once the industry solution to repairing broken concrete. By creating a mud/concrete slurry, the solution seemed simple enough — but the truth is, it’s messy, time-consuming, and far more expensive than foam lifting.

Foam lifting uses a spray polyurethane foam that is high-density and lightweight. The foam is injected beneath your concrete to lift and support it without adding unnecessary weight. Once the foam is expanded, it quickly hardens. And best of all — it’s waterproof, so you never have to worry about it washing out.

How Foam Lifting Works

Step #1

Small holes are drilled into your concrete so that we can access the void underneath.

Step #2

Foam is pumped through a hose, into the pre-drilled holes. The foam expands, filling the voids and thereby lifting your concrete.

Step #3

After 30 minutes, the foam is hardened and you can drive or park your vehicle on your good-as-new concrete slab.
